What Were The Companions Of Imam Husayn ('A) Like?

The companions of Imam Al-Husayn alayhi as-salam, are an incredible inspiration for every single one of us, regardless of our gender, socio-economic background, race, age, so on and so forth.

On the night of Ashura, Zuhair Ibn Al-Qain stands up, and he testifies his loyalty in front of the Imam alayhi as-salam, stating that, Even if they were to kill me and they were to shatter my ashes all across the plains of Karbala, numerous times I would always remain loyal to you, O Aba Abdillah.

Muslim Ibn A'usajah, soon thereafter, he stands up and he said, As long as I have the capacity to hold a spear, and repel the enemy, I will do just that.

These sorts of anecdotes and lessons inspire us to think about ways and mechanisms by which we can also be at the support and serve the Imam of our time.
