Salah (Prayers)

Salah ("worship", ‏صلاة‎; pl. ‏صلوات‎ ṣalawāt; also salat), or namāz (Persian: نَماز‎) in some languages, is one of the Five Pillars in the faith of Islam and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim (Male & Female, with certain exemptions based on Taqwa). It is a physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times.

It depends on the mistake. If the mistake was unintentional and does not involve basic obligatory acts of Salah, then Salah is valid. If write clearly what was the situation, the reply will be more clear.

It is important to keep the respect of women not to bow in Ruku' and prostrate in Sujood in front of men. Men should not see the women bowing down or prostrating. The rows of women should be behind the rows of men.

When first town in congregational prayer is full, second row should start from the middle behind the Imam of Jama'ah. Filling the second row by standing on the right side is more recommended than left side of the Imam of Jama'ah.

Istihadha requires you to perform Wudhu for every single Salah whether obligatory or recommended. If the Istihadha has occurred before performing your Salah, your every Salah needs to be with a new Wudhu.

If Istihadha occurred immediately after you performed your Prayers,v your Prayers which performed are valid, but coming prayers need a new Wudhu for every Prayer. This is when the blood is little which does not fill the pad.

1. We follow the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) taken from the most authentic and most knowledgeable source who are the Prophet’s own Progeny (Ahlul Bayt). We never accept fabricated narrations no matter what was the reason behind the fabrication.

2. There no authentic narrations that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) ever folding hands during are Salah. This fact was admitted by many leading Sunni scholars including Al-Azhar Sunni scholars in the book (Fiqh Al-Sunnah) and many other Sunni scholars.

3. No Sunni scholar could say that folding hands in Salah is obligatory. Imam Malik of the Maliki Sunni sect rejected folding hand in Salah.(Al-Mughni by Ibn Qudamah;514).

4. Had they have any authentic narration that the Prophet ever hooded his hands during Salah, they should have said that it is an obligatory act as all Muslims say that following the acts of the Proohet (SAWA) is obligatory.

5. Ahlul Bayt (AS) who are the most knowledgeable and the most authentic after the Prophet (SAWA) have clearly objected on folding hands during Salah and said that it is an act came from Non Muslims. Ahlul Bayt (AS) ordered Muslims not to fold hands during Salah (Al-Khisal by al-Sadouq , V.2 , P. 161). Also in Qutb Al-Isnaad 95 and Biharul Anwaar, V. 10 m P. 277.

Athaan أذان and Iqama are recommended and we say Ashhadu Anna Aliyyan Waliyyullah being the main fact of proper faith after Tawheed and Nubowwah. This was been announced in Athaan immediately after Ghadeer Khum decleratiin.

Tashahhud is not recommended but obligatory. In Tashahhud we are bound to say exactly what was been said by the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS). All  authentic Hadeeths from Prophet and Ahlul Bayt teaching us Tashahhud have the same Tashahhud with out adding any sentence on it. Mentioning Ameerul Mo;mineen (AS) in Tashahhud is allowed or recommended as part of supplication like (ALLAHUMMA SALLI Ala Aliyyin AMEERIL Mo;mineen) and not as a part of Tashahhud. Du’a is permissible in every part in Salah, but Tashahhud must be recited as it was recited by the Prophet. and Ahlul Bayt (AS).

You may contact your Marje' of Taqleed and write full details of the situation and the reasons, then wait for his reply.

If you are sure that your Wudhu or Ghusl were invalid for invalid reason, you will then need to redo your prayers.
