Qur'an

The Quran (القرآن‎, romanized: al-Qurʼān, literally meaning "the recitation"), also romanized Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Allah). It is widely regarded as the finest work in classical Arabic literature. The Quran is divided into chapters (Arabic: سورة sūrah, plural سور suwar), which are subdivided into verses (Arabic: آية āyah, plural آيات āyāt).

Killing an innocent is a major sin if it was deliberate not unintentional. This major sin has many types and degrees but all deliberate killing of an innocent is a major sin. Killing a believer just because of his belief is the most dangerous.

The dominant view among Muslims, Sunni and Shi'i, is that the Qur'an we have today is the Qur'an of the Prophet.

Exceptions apply.

Broadly speaking, exceptions in the Sunni tradition involve things such as the tradition from Aishah that a goat ate some ayat of the Qur'an; and in the Shii tradition, some narrations implying otherwise. Whether or not one accepts these narrations as authentic, or how one interprets them, is a different matter. (For instance, some Shii will understand hadith which seem to add some words to the Qur'an as examples of in-line commentary that was given while the Qur'an was being quoted, not as different quotations of the Qur'an.)

On the other hand, some ayat of the Qur'an are often understood to mean that the book itself is protected by Allah.

In any case, the Imams from the Ahl al-Bayt (A) have instructed us to use the Qur'an as it is in our prayers.

Based on narrations, possibly, a difference between the compilation of Imam 'Ali and the current Qur'an is the order of the surahs. As for other views, this may vary.

A helpful book to read about this in more detail in English is Ayatollah Ma'rifat, Introduction to the Sciences of the Qur'an. (Do not be deceived by the title, it is a heavy read!)

If I may offer my personal view (twice in one day!), there is really no guarantee about anything that happened in the past, when we were not present to witness it. In fact, we often can't even guarantee the absolute truth of things that happen in our time. However, we can try our best to come to a probable truth, with the help of Allah, and that is all we are expected to do.

We did not have any evidence that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) had been to this location or any other sea. Who claims that the Prophet had been there needs to present an authentic evidence. You can ask him for his authentic evidence then send it on this website so that we can verify its authenticity.

Predestination is everything in life which is out of our will or control like our creation, our birth place,v our family, our skin color, or height, our eyes color , our body functioning etc. every predestined matter is never part of our our responsibility. Our faith and deeds are our responsibility and every one with be questioned about his faith and deeds. Allah (ASWT) Says in Quran :And stop them, verily they will be questioned. Sura Saffar, verse 24.

Sura 65:3 says that everything created by Allah has a discipline and order. It never says that our deeds are destined or I forced in us. Allah Says in Quran ( We Have guided him ( human being) the way, and he decides to be grateful of disgraceful) Sura Al-Insaan, verse 3.

Sayyeds are from family tree of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and we need to respect them from the sake of respecting the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) as far as they follow basic faith of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS). If a Sayyed disrespects or goes against the main facts and teachings of the Prophet and Ahlul Bayt (AS), he will not be entitled to receive the respect which he has gone against.

Piousness and Taqawi is the main criteria in Islam. Son of Prophet Noah was destroyed because he disobeyed his father. We have also in our history some Sayyeds who harmed Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) and tried to kill him like Al-Hasan al-Aftas الحسن الآفطس

‘Pious Sayyeds deserve respect as much as they are pious in following the Prophet  (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS). Disobeying Sayyed is a sinner who can never like the pious Sayyed.

Intercession is by the most humble servants of Allah like the prophets and their deputies and very pious believers. They can intercede to help believers who need intercession after permission from Allah (SWT).

Allah Says in Sura Al-Anbiyaa', verse 30: They can not intercede except for whom Allah accepts ( to be granted intercession).
